Graduated from University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1979 and trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and General Practice in Liverpool; Genitourinary and HIV/AIDS Medicine on the Sunderland/ South Shields/ Newcastle rotation. Appointed Consultant Physician in Genitourinary & HIV/AIDS to James Paget University Hospital in July 1996. Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, School of Medicine, University of East Anglia, Norwich.
